My best experience eating Wurst in Germany and brezel was also very very fresh and tasty. We took simple lunch, but it was super tasty.

Very nice restaurant, right on the Rhine. The gentle breeze was a life saver after a hot day, as was the cold beer and good food. Service is great. Similar to many diners, you order and pay at the counter, get a number, and your food is brought to you. We were a party of 6 for a late evening dinner. They have several beers to choose from as well as a good selection of wine and spritzers. We had checked their online menu, but some things had changed. The food: the flammkuchen was, unfortunately, sold out for the day (but I hear it's delicious). The summer salad had an amazing honey mustard dressing. The bratwurst was flavorful. The only issue was the spaghetti bolognaise was a little dry for our tastes; not enough tomato passata in the meat sauce in my brother's opinion. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Location! Location! Location! Sitting by the river at Eltville was what we had hoped for to have lunch and that is exactly what we got. The staff was exceptional, especially for a self-serve establishment for drinks and ordering the food, but they were still welcoming, warm, and helpful. The food was good as well, as was evident with the patrons who were there at the time.

A charming little place situated on the banks of the Rhine, with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is simple, but delicious, wholesome and unpretentious. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Others have spoken about how delicious the mustard is, and I can only confirm that it is very special indeed. A lovely place that's well worth visiting.

The food is a perfect blend of flavors and creativity, with exquisite presentation. While service can be a bit inconsistent. However, what truly sets this restaurant apart is its breathtaking location and panoramic view. Overlooking a serene waterfront, it’s an immersive experience that combines nature and urban charm. With a bit of service refinement, Anleger 511 could become a culinary gem that’s hard to match.

What a fantastic view as it's right on the Rhine. Ok, that's 3 1/2 stars all by itself...face it it's all about the experience; add to that comfortable outdoor seating...another 1/2 star. Food and drink are self serve (well, you stand in line, order drinks and food, and pay), but the staff brings the food and clears the table...normally I'd subtract a star, but here it makes sense, at least on weekdays when the crowds aren't prevalent. Finally the food...2 stars. It's bistro fare, though done nicely. My wife had the dish of the day: carpaccio with potato asparagus salad and I had the bratwurst with potato asparagus salad. My bratwurst was cooked to perfection, and the special house mustard was spot on. For drinks we both had Riesling from local wineries...hers was a 2018 Georg Breuer dry Riesling, and mine was a 2019 Schloss Vollrads Riesling mild (somewhat sweet).
